For all the euphoric flavors you can't get enough of – especially the ones you can't get in ordinary stores – nobody scoops Ben & Jerry's better than we do at our scoop shops.

If you love ice cream and a large variety of flavors, this is the place to go. I have not done the tour but the window sells every flavor they make (sample if you are not sure) and sells many different ice cream treats, from cones to super sundaes. There is also a gift shop with everything Ben and Jerry's.... More

Ben and Jerry's original headquarters is close to the Waterbury Exit of I89. Tours last about 30 minutes and will fill you in about everything you want to know about this icon ice cream maker. The tours cost a small fee, but you'll get samples of excellent ice cream. There is also a gift shop - and, or course, an... More

So after looking and reading about the history of Ben and Jerry, I took the tour. We watched a brief video, which was very informative. The tour guide then took us up to the observation area of the manufacturing room. It was small, and somewhat disappointing. At the end, we went down to have a sample of ice cream. This... More

Loved the ice cream so many different flavours that I need to come back and try. Loved the vermontster! Makes you feel like a kid as it is literally a bucket of ice cream they give you! Great way to try a few different types and different toppings

While in Vermont, a must is to visit one of the several Ben & Jerrys factories. The tour was $4 a person which also included a small taste of one of the types of ice cream being made that day. You can also purchase most of their other types in the ice scream shop on premise, the tour is short.

We stopped here on our adventure to the east coast. It wasn't a day that the factory was operating but they still run the tour and give you samples at the end. It was worth the trip!

We enjoyed the tour of Ben & Jerry's even though they were not making any ice cream; they were in the middle of renovations on their equipment. We especially enjoyed tasting a special, "not for sale outside the tasting room" flavor of ice cream. Afterwards, we did purchase a few scoops to enjoy. The tour of the flavor graveyard was... More

Fun and information tour of how Ben and Jerry's started and their mission. Just long enough to have young children along and then, of course, there is the anticipation of what flavor ice cream you will get to sample at the end. Nice, short excursion for the family.

Its like visiting Willy Wonkas Chocolate Factory, only its all ecologically and socially conscious and you get free ice cream while the cow mascot convinces you the world isn't so bad after all. Great tour guide, super interesting, and did i mention free ice cream??

The tour consists of 3 parts. First, you view a movie about the company, second, you walk to a hallway overlooking the factory floor, third you taste a kids size portion that they select. The guides try to liven things up with silly ice cream puns but that is the entirety of the tour. Outside of the factory, on a... More
