This is a great place to take visitor to see a waterfall, with drastic beauty and carved rock - about five minutes' walk. Be cautious if swimming and follow the trail down to the right where access to the water is safer.

We loved finding this little hidden gem in Stowe. Totally worth the short hike. Absolutely NOT stroller or baby-carrier friendly and if you have a cane or generally require any assistance with walking, this is not for you. Children under age 4 will find this...More

We went with our 3 boys on a rainy day. Pretty waterfall. The hike down was moderate and there were steps. People did jump off some high rocks and it seemed safe to do so. My teenage boys loves it!

A beautiful but tricky, wet, hike down to the falls. It was fun watching people jump into the water below. I'd be right in there if I was a little younger!

Hiked here with my husband and 7 year old son. We had a blast! My husband and son jumped off rocks to water below. Tip: Bring towels and bug spray.

I am not a hiker, but it was an easy hike to the top of the falls, which gives you a beautiful view. However, if you want to get down INTO the falls, you're in for a steep and often slippery climb. After building up...More

Easy hike with entrance to trail from Notchbrook Rd. We hiked with kids as young as 4 and all were able to do it (although with some complaints). From the Notchbrook Rd side the view of the falls isn't as great as the pictures, but...More

The path down to the falls is wide and easy to access. Once you get closer to the stream, the path gets steeper and has rock steps to traverse. At the very bottom the path gets wet and slippery. At the base of the falls...More

You definitely can't carry them through the last part of the trek because it's steep and rocky. If your two year old is strong and fearless, you MIGHT be OK helping him or her down very slowly. I personally don't junk my... More

Yes no problem at all. It's a bit steep but if you take your time the dogs should be fine.
