Pricey? Check. Beautiful and nstill some charm left? Check. Billionaires are pushing the Millionaires out of the slopeside real estate market? Check. The mountain is a skiers mountain and most beginners stay on the Spruce Peak side so more advanced skiers can enjoy the more challenging trails. Update the remaining slow chairs and you will have everything needed for a... More

1st time skiing & we absolutely loved it!!!! The place is a post card, gorgeous & breathtaking. We're a family of 5, 2 teenagers & 1 kid. I enrolled my youngest in the Beginners for 4 days. He learned snowboarding really fast & enjoyed it a lot. The teachers were fantastic & they even gave him a report card every... More

We love Stowe! Always look forward to our visits to this grand mountain. The mountain has a friendly layout, making it easy to navigate from lift to lift. The gondola is a nice bonus and always like traveling up in style. The runs are great, with many options for different skill levels. Definitely do your self a favor and get... More

Being from Georgia and skiing most of my time in the mountains of NC, the Stowe Mountain Resort was a dream! We went on a Wednesday - knowing that there would be fewer people there. Well, for sure, there were barely any people there. It was marvelous! A little expensive at $90 for a lift ticket for the day (weekday... More

Professional grade slopes. Lots of security. Friendly and professional staff. Excellent food. Excellent service. Not a lot of parking so get there early. Don't try it on weekends because it gets a little "crowdy".

We had a great time and were impressed with facilities and quality of operations at the resort. The ski instructors were outstanding and as an intermediate skier I was most impressed by the amount of skiing and access I had at the Stowe. Grooming was terrific and staff were helpful and friendly.

my wife and I skied here several times in the early 2000's. good skiing, nice mtn. everything then was expensive in comparison to all other ski areas in vt. now in 2017, I see the price for lift tickets and lodging. it's a joke! a 2 day ticket is the same price as 2- 1 day tickets. I have skied... More

This time that we came to ski/board in January and beacuse of the snow cover they had 80% of the trails open. I go on a lot of greens and enjoyed the Toll House and Lullaby Lane trails that wind all the way down to the 4 major lifts. It was $124 for an adult lift ticket, or $92 if... More

Being from Miami had always imagined what it would be like at a top ski resort like Stowe. Well it didn't disappoint. We booked the day before for the 2 1/2 hour ski lessons in the morning and got there really early to avoid the parking lot congestion. Recommend you get there before 9:00 AM to get decent parking and... More

We were complete novices at the old skiing lark. We just turned up at Stowe and went for it. Their systems for booking lesson's and ski passes worked well, as did the equipment hire. It was all very seamless. Yes I agree pricey but skiing is right?? Anyway we decide we had to do it while we were there. In... More
