Stowe in Northern Vermont is a little pearl, very picturesque but a bit to touristy for my taste. Loads of shops and eating places and good home made ice cream just off Main Street.

I've skied Mount Mansfield all my life but this weekend was the best spring skiing ever. 19 inches of fresh powder Saturday and Sunday was fantastic too.

Stowe has become a destination resort with fantastic terrain for all abilities. Great modern lodges. Plentiful restaurants and great lodging options. They have put a tremendous amount of money into this resort and it shows. One of the best ski areas in the east!
