Beautiful - From the road and for hiking

Nice drive on a rainy day, we wished we had time to go back in better weather to explore the trails.

We didn't have time to actually go hiking here, on the way back home we saw pictures online and decided to see the road ourselves. It's definitely worth spending more time here. picturesque road, fresh air and rejuvenation experience. We try to come back.

Relative to many high-level parks and attractions, this area is really easy to get to from downtown Stowe and well worth the visit. Sterling Pond is a special gem.

Our boys, ages 8 and 12, couldn't get enough of exploring the caves and rockslides. It was stiflingly hot the week we spent in Stowe, so we didn't hike as much as we planned, but the caves were a nice, cool place to be active...More
