The Hungry Gringo loved it.

See my other Stowe reports. Overall the experience outside of The Stowe Mtn lodge was terrific. Spruce Peak is great. Skiers of all abilities should consider it more. The base... read more

See my other Stowe reports. Overall the experience outside of The Stowe Mtn lodge was terrific. Spruce Peak is great. Skiers of all abilities should consider it more. The base lodge is awesome. The ski school is great, especially Instructor DJ. The food in the base lodge is also very good. Loved it and am looking forward to all the... More

If you want a gentle beginner slope or a more advanced terrain Spruce Peak has it. Spruce has a great base camp restaurant and bar for your enjoyment. They often have live bands to entertain you while you relax between runs at peak hours. Spruce is proximal to the rental shop, the Stowe Mountain Lodge, the new Children's Adventure Center... More

Spruce peak is the ultimate for learning how to ski or snowboard. They take care of small groups of kids and individual. Our family are beginner snowboarders and intermediate skiers. There was a new ski lift that was really cool, and the stowe employees are sooo nice and helpful, we love talking to all of them, the evolution card is... More

This concert hall is relatively new, and the design accommodates all forms of live entertainment in a very comfortable setting. I have had the pleasure of attending several live music performances from classical, to Irish, to big band, and have never been disappointed at any one of them. I'm amazed at the caliber of artists who display their talents here.... More

The new Hotel is just beautiful. They are in the process of putting in an ice skating rink and Activities Center. It is a very large property. I believe you can also purchase condos here. Separate for the Hotel of course. Skiing is just a walk away. Great for winter stays. Down side is that it is very pricy $300... More

My wife & I last came here 17 years ago. She had a fall and tore all the ligaments in her left leg. She was brought down the mountain to the medical centre where she was treated well. It took a good 6 weeks on crutches and longer to repair. Although we have skied Europe many times we decided to... More

We skipped the hotel breakfast and ate at Spruce Peak. To be honest there was more than enough food for 2 on the Buffet Breakfast: Eggs, Pancakes, Bacon, fruit, etc that 2 adults could share which makes the 15 charge a good deal. Service has fast and one of the best mountain cafeterias I have been to in Vermont. Great... More

Private lessons: Booked a private lesson for my wife and daughter. 3hrs for nearly $600. Mark was our instructor and did a great job. My wife and daughter were pleased with his help. Seemed pricey and he ended the lesson at noon (Reservation was for 9:30am). Not sure why we missed out on the last 30mins. Remains a mystery to... More

Very impressive, beautiful views, full of "buz" if you want to drop in for an apres ski snack, reserve time for a massage at the spa, sit in the square and watch the Olympics on 16 foot screen. The drinks are priced at twice the amount at most establishments and the parking is valet.. most of the time. The development... More
