Went here for a quick swim with kids. We were visiting a friend who lived nearby, so we didn't have to pay for parking which was about $6. It's a short hike to the beach and there are a couple of hiking trails nearby. You...More

Lots of space, plentiful trails and comfortable picnic spots. The water front is the Lake Champlain eastern shore just North of Shelburne Bay and South of the City of Burlington. Access to the 7+ miles of waterfront bike path is easy and well maintained.

We came for a walk in the woods and some views, and got them. The trails through the woods (I think it said about 2.5 miles of trail) are nice, with some neat ledges in the middle. If you like walking in the woods, which...More

Found this place in a travel magazine. Wonderful views and a short hike. The only problem we had are that none of the trails have markings to tell you which trail you are on. We just wandered on them, it would be hard to get...More

We went for a nearby, after Thanksgiving dinner hike. The hike was just the right distance on a cold windy day. There are lookouts views of Lake Champlain. We were fortunate to see a couple of peregrine falcons.

Not much to say. It's a bit of an urban park: lots of people throughout. There are nice bike paths and a SUP rental right on the water.

These well maintained trails wander all through the woods, with viewing points and benches that overlook Lake Champlain. The trails are not marked but, if you don't fret it and don't sweat it, you'll find your way back to the beginning. Enjoy the smell of...More

Flip-flops are ok for most of the park but if you want to explore the rocky shoreline then snickers would be better. You park right in the park. The park is only 100 acres but it has many different trails so hiking 1 mile is... More
