This is a large, spread-out institution--several dozen buildings across several dozen acres. Mightn't be interesting for very young kids, but those we saw who were 10 or above had a good time, including some of the teenagers who are required by the Constitution to act...More

I spent a couple of hours at the Shelbourne Museum. The price is $24 for adults for non Vermont residents.Like the other reviews have said this place requires lots of walking. My Fit bit was at 12,000 steps (about 5-6 miles) and I skipped a...More

Went here with family and friends and had an extraordinary time! Family friendly and lots to do and see. Hop on over ro Shelburne Farm about 3 miles away and there's even more there plus nature trails.

There are so many interesting things to see here. I especially liked the side wheeler that was hauled into the park around 1955. Watch the film on board to see the amazing feat which moved this ship over 2 miles over land out from Lake...More

This “museum” has something for everyone. It’s not a typical “go into a building and look at artifacts type of place;” it is comprised of 39 buildings. This museum is based on the eccentricities of Electra Havemeyer Webb who had the financial wherewithal to pursue...More

They have a shuttle, a large covered vehicle that runs a regular circuit around the property so you can get to each of the areas without excessive walking. I would bring a water bottle if it is warm. You can stay at any of... More

I don't know but they are very easy going so just give them a call. Make sure you differentiate between the Farm and the Museum as they are two distinct organizations.

Much of the museum is in separate buildings so if you require assistance you should call the museum and ask if they have wheelchairs and how much of the museum is accessible via wheelchair
