Hey, we were just passing through town on the bike and so glad we checked this place out! We saw the chapel and the pictures and notes regarding peoples pet dogs. It brought back so many personal good memories. It was such an uplifting experience!

I'm not sure what the difference is between Dog Mountain and Dog Chapel.... I guess Dog Mountain is always open to dogs. Happily we were able to visit Dog Chapel... and did I cry. See my review.

What a wonderful place to visit with or without a dog. You can wander around the trails, visit the Museum or the Chapel. It was great to see the kids having a blast and dogs running free!

We did not have our dog with us, but the area was hilly. There were wooded areas and a pond. I think it's a place that your dog and you can do as little or as much as you'd like to do. It's an awesome place.
