Nice state park with plenty of picnic areas and clean bathrooms. We explored the island as we waited for the next ferry to Burton Island, great day.

Great place to swim, picnic, bike and take your Kayaks to enjoy the day out on Lake Champlain...We go here on weekends and spend the whole day enjoying the quiet area and great lake breezes.

We took the boat to Burton's island. And it was a wonderful scenic ride. The island has a nice store to get food and ice cream. Lots of trails to see a lot of nature. Pet are allowed so it worked out fine.

Views are stunning, water was horrible. Rocky shore and full of green stuff floating in water. Not good on a hot day

Camp Kildare is a lovely state park on the shores of Lake Champlain that offers opportunities for swimming, paddle sports, lawn sports, and a ferry to Burton Island. There are changing rooms but no food concessions. BYO picnic and enjoy!
