One of nature’s wonders. Unfortunately we visited during the winter and were not able to hike the trails nor even make our way down. It snowed the night before and it just wasn’t safe enough for us to do. We will definitely be back in...More

We went here as a side trip off the 100 and whilst we were not disappointed we were not overwhelmed either. It is very busy with Coach tours, for some reason the tours think Woodstock and this gorge are the epitome of New England in...More

I had never been to Quechee Gorge, although I had driven by on many occasions. Finally, we made the effort to stop at the Visitors Center, which is just before the bridge. We got a map and walked up to the dam overlook, then back...More

Quechee is beautiful but not a destination. If you stop, take time to hike down to the reservoir and the bottom of the gorge. It only takes about 1/2 hr and is well worth the short hike. Otherwise 10 minutes is enough time to look...More

This is a pretty gorge. There is a nice path along it with great photo ops. Lots of tourists, even in the rain, but worth a stop if you’re in the area.

This is an easy attraction right on the road. There is a large pullout parking area to stop and take out your camera. A sidewalk is provided so that pedestrians are not in danger of being close to the road traffic. This gorge is quite...More

If you're going through Quechee, and see a somewhat narrow bridge, it's worth a stop - pull over and just walk to the center of the short bridge, and take in the view of the gorge - it's fairly breathtaking. Lovely to see in the...More
