We stopped at the Montshire Science Museum on our way home from our annual trip to New Hampshire. I was hoping to find a spot for us to stretch our legs and get some energy out of our four year old. This place was PERFECT! A decent price for all that you can do and see. I would recommend anyone... More

We drive 1.5 hours to visit this museum several times a year and it never disappoints! During warm weather the outdoor "science park" has fantastic water features that appeal to kids of all ages. My 6 and 9 year olds have a blast and there were several teens there today as well. We bring bathing suits and towels and spend... More

Our family loved our trip to Montshire. Our daughter's comment was "I love a place where I can run around and touch everything!!!" It is that kind of place. Lots to keep kids busy for hours. We didn't have time to explore everywhere but it was definitely a great place to spend an afternoon. We got in a little hike... More

I visited this location with my two sisters and nephew. My nephew is six years old and the majority of families there on this particular day had kids roughly 9 years old and younger. This museum is amazing because there's so much to see and do, but with that said it can also be overstimulating. The exhibits on leaf cutter... More

As soon as the you go in the children are engaged in what is around them. There are so many interactive displays, we all enjoyed learning through play. There is enough information on each to support this but not feel overwhelming. Upstairs and we were fascinated with the living displays of honey bees and leaf cutter ants. Again the staff... More

The museum is extremely child friendly. This is a very hands on place. My daughter has been here a few times, and she was still excited to go today. I had a great time as well.

We have been here at leat twice a year for the last few years. We always have such a great time. We enjoy all the hands on activities! Many of the exhibits we, as parents, can do as well. For the summer months the outdoor water activities are fantastic!

This was a great activity with my daughters. They were impressed with the bubble station (with good reason), the mind-benders, the light exhibits, the build your own instruments and pinball machines and much more. And we didn't even get to all the outside activities.

My husband and I took our 4 year old here and honestly weren't expecting much because we've been to some larger city museums like the Smithsonian, but boy, were we impressed. It is a hidden jem in Vermont that kids and adults will like. There is so much to do and so much to see. The interior of the museum... More
