Amazing hike. Trails were muddy yet we maintained. There’s a good amount of traffic, and not everyone planned very well. The day stared out nice, sunny and cool. The start was about 50 degrees and no wind. As we got higher it stared to rain...More

Loved traveling to Vt. to see the foliage. We will hike Camel's Head but the road Camel Hump Road gets very narrow and it's best to travel less than the speed limit as other cars don't always share the narrow road or slow on small...More

A group of seven of us took the Monroe trail up to the top. Unfortunately we were socked into clouds but it was still an awesome experience! It was about 20 degrees cooler at the top then at the bottom. I hope to return and...More

The hike up Camels hump is not for the out of shape. No matter which side you choose, better be in good physical condition. Once at the top, the views are beyond description. If you can do it in the fall, the colors will amaze....More

We didn’t do the hike, but I wanted to give this a 5 because everywhere we went we were pointing this mountain out and it will forever be a great memory.

A sight visible from all over Vermont. Beautiful at a distance and a great hiking destination. Well worth a trip up for the view.

This area can be a bit buggy, so plan ahead and keep on hiking! Moderate hike has nicely varied terrain, with a great view from the top

We hiked Camel's Hump on October 8th and are still marveling both about the beauty of the place and the fact that we actually made it to the top. We hiked Mt. Mansfield the day before and were disappointed that the weather spoiled our view....More

I agree. Sneakers are quite adequate however...the trail is a very loose rocky one and some people might need the support of a firmer hiking shoe
