About
Located inside a classic Vermont Barn, the Vermont Salt Cave spa is a man-made replica of an underground healing Polish salt cave with 20,000 lbs of salt boulders on the walls, 4000 lbs of salt crystals on the floor, and lit with 52 salt lamps to create a saturated negative ion environment. Pharmaceutical grade salt is crushed into microscopic particles and pushed into the air to help cleanse and open bronchial passages whilst clients de-stress in the zero gravity chairs. There is also a hand and foot detox which is great for muscle and joint aches and pains plus the salt cave offers infra-red/magnetic therapy, many types of massage including a CBD Massage, as well as the new Amino-Neuro Frequency Therapy from Denmark.

I have been to this Salt Cave twice and both times were able to fully benefit from the relaxing atmosphere. With how fast the world is moving today, this experience gives you 45 minutes of pure solitude. My boyfriend and I enjoyed it the first time and I brought my mother and a friend back for the second round and they all loved it. Also, the employees and owners are EXTREMELY knowledgeable and they have a variety of homeopathic products and goods for sale, including a very large verity of restorative teas and essential oils.

Wanted to try something new so found this Salt cave which sounded interesting and relaxing. Arrived in the quaint little town and walked into an absolute GEM. Sarita was a pleasure, took the time to explain all the services offered. Starting with the Himalayan hand and foot detox which was interesting, followed that with infrared heat therapy and finished in the Salt cave. You will have no idea just how relaxing this was until you try it. This experience was amazing. The salt cave alone was worth the visit. It was like you were transported into a cave the woods, the floor was made of salt and the air was refreshing. You sit back, and just drift off into a state of pure relaxation.
When you have finished take the time to speak with Sarita she is very knowledgeable and informed about so many things.

Overall a very relaxing and informative day.

Sarita and Nafis are wonderful people, care about their guests, and accommodate everyone’s needs. A VT treasure. The salt cave is by far the best you’ll ever visit.

As I was leaving derby vt to head to Boston, I came upon this in a book and scheduled time for 4 of us to stop. I'm glad that I did! I was apprehensive when I entered in though I was made to be cozy and comfy. I'm glad I had asked questions ahead of time because when my nose felt like a tingling sensation I knew it was not something bad. The salt cave helps with allergies and breathing, among other things. I did enjoy it. .2 of our group fell asleep. I learned a few things from the owners. A great experience.

The salt caves itself were a cool experience. Very cool... in fact, make sure you dress warm. Our lungs felt better and we could breathe deeper for a few days after and neither of us have lung issues!

I added on the infrared therapy but didn’t notice anything with this treatment. I was a bit disappointed doing this treatment because when I went into this room and was asked to remove my shoes I could feel the grit under my bare feet. A quick sweep before each client is a great idea.

What a relaxing and enjoyable experience!! My mother had the reflexology while I was having hand and foot detox. After treatments the staff was very knowledgeable and helped us understand all the benefits of the treatments. Then to the salt cave! Very relaxed in a zero gravity chair covered in a cozy blanket with soothing music playing. If I hadn’t already napped in my detox I surely would have in there. We left feeling de stressed and renewed. I’d highly recommend it and I will be going back!! There are also lots of locally made products Available for sale.

The Montgomery Salt Caves is such a magical place. I go every week that I can to relax and rejuvenate and ground. Nafis and Sarita are the loveliest host and hostess and have a wealth of knowledge about natural healing. They wrap you in the softest blankets as you listen to the tinkle of the two waterfalls in the cave, surrounded by salt from Poland and himalayan salt lamps while you breath the salty air from the halo generator and listen to lovely music. It is a great experience. Try the many teas they carry in the shop...my favorite : crown chakra tea.

Our first visit to a salt cave! It was so relaxing and refreshing. We did the 45 min cave and 30 min hand and foot detox. Owners were very knowledgeable and helpful. Wish I had access to this all the time!
