One of the premier small, liberal arts colleges in the country, the campus commands stunning views of New York's Adirondack mountains to the west and Vermont's Green Mountains to the east. Most of the classic New England buildings feature local white and gray marble in their construction. An easy walk from the charming historic village center where small shops and... More

Middlebury College is a beautiful campus located in a remote part of Vermont. A liberal arts campus with a lot to offer.

available at the main office provides an excellent, one hour visit to the campus. The campus itself is beautiful and the centerpiece of a visit to Middlebury.

I was lecturing here. Stunning art museum, fantastic hockey arena, interesting buildings, dorms, commons. Money can supply a very comfortable educational experience for the fortunate. Walk the grounds, talk with the students and faculty. The town itself is a genuinely welcoming place with friendly people everywhere...even to us Southerners! Why didn't I know about Middlebury when I was hunting undergrad... More

Much bigger than I thought for school of 2500. Very friendly staff and students. Nice little town with good restaurants and inns. Lot of back roads to get there but worth the visit.

During our daughter's Northeast college tour, we saw some beautiful ones, Colgate's a close second, but Middlebury takes the cake. Large campus, pretty views even in winter, buildings are both historic and modern at the same time.

We had a great visit at Middlebury. The admissions staff was knowledgeable and friendly as were the all of the students encountered on the campus. The college has extensive facilities that are updated and current. Considerable effort has been made in assuring architectural consistency across the campus. It is interesting to note that the college is close to meeting their... More

Quintessential New England college campus, but with the twist of having all marble buildings rather than the brick structures or colonial clapboard buildings at the Ivy Leagues and places like Williams College. Very pretty to walk through, and the light gray color must look terrific in winter when snow covers the ground. Even without a prospective student tour, this is... More

The campus fits the picture of a classic New England location for a college. The older buildings are an architectural delight. The athletic center's facilities are spectacular.

The campus is beautiful, the buildings are an eclectic mix of old and new, and the tour guides are excellent. It was the middle of a language program for students, so it was fascinating to watch the students interact.
