Not what I expected. Small house with some furniture but no details or history to see or read. There was a small exhibit from WWII but not worth making a trip for. I was a little disappointed.

Don't plan your day around this museum. It's OK, with a lot of furniture. The exhibit of the old pictures was interesting. There was a neat picture of the steamship Ticonderoga. You can see the ship itself at the Shelburne museum in Shelburne VT.

This was a great exhibit in a nice museum. The museum's main exhibit is life in Vermont with collections from Henry Sheldon. But, the bicycling exhibit has old bicycles, pictures of people using the bicycles and explanations about them. Worth the visit, plus a nice...More

The Henry Sheldon Museum in Middlebury does a great job of telling the history of Addison County. Their exhibits provide a good way to learn about the area over many decades. They also offer special exhibits. Their next one starting in June covers the history...More
