Historic home of Robert Lincoln, only child of President and Mary Todd Lincoln to survive to adulthood. The estate has beautiful gardens, restored 1903 wooden Pullman palace car, goat farm and cheesemaking facility, 12+ miles of walking trails, teaching greenhouse and cross-country skiing in winter.

Not sure what I expected but this homestead made for an excellent visit. The house is excellent and the Pullman Car is exquisite. Enjoyed the farm and the observatory and the grounds.

We went when all the peonies were in bloom. Wow! The grounds and gardens are wonderful. Plan on going back soon.

Been there several times. Granted I'm a U.S. History teacher, but all people will find the life of President Lincoln's only son to live beyond 18 years old interesting. And get some local flavor.

Hildene is a must see ! The grounds and staff are exceptional. A true American treasure! Perfect for all age groups. If you have any love of Lincoln history this is your spot. Our guide was so witty and knowledgable, it was a real treat!

The Lincoln family home in Manchester is a must if you are in the area. Not only is the home wonderfully maintained, but the setting is spectacular...sitting between the Taconic and Green Mountains.

Yes, the admission gives you access to all of our 412 acres, each venue and our over 12 miles of walking trails.
Can i bring my dog if he stay in the carrying bag? He's a small old dog, very calm dog. We'll travel with him through out New England States for vacation. Thanks, Sharon
