Beautiful park! Came here on a Sunday and it was very crowded. Lots of people on the water and having family picnics/bbqs. It was $4 per person to get in (as an out-of-towner). We came here to hike the Vista Trail. We were told this was a "easy hike," but found it to have a pretty moderate incline to hike... More

One of the most beautiful and serene state parks. If its a sunny day, you are in for a double treat.

While vacationing at nearby Ascutney Mountain we drove a half hour to Camp Plymouth State Park for a long and enjoyable day of swimming, relaxing, and visiting with family. The park is clean and well maintained. There are full restrooms and changing booths, as well as a small concession stand. There is a volleyball court, playground, large grassy areas with... More

Awesome park with views of mountains coming down to large lake. Kayak and canoe rentals available for nominal charge. I think they added sand to swimming area so you don't feel the gross mushy lake bottom until you are well over your head. Great time.

The young ones sat on the sandy beach and played - easy. The teens rented kayaks and paddle boards - they had a great time too. (Not cheep). There are plenty of picnic tables for the adults to sit by. The bathrooms are clean. The snacks at the store are reasonably priced. (Ice cream was $2). The place is clean,... More

This is our third trip here. It is my favorite lake in VT. (Echo lake) Very reasonable price to get in, and a lot to do. Kayak and paddle board rentals, volley ball and a park. It is a great day, on a very large lake with great views.

We love going to Camp Plymouth for the lake beach and pack the car with our kayak, chairs and some food. Water is clean and they have nice restrooms. There is a daily fee so make the most of it, if you plan to be here a few times a year, consider season passes so it makes it easier to... More

Perfect for having a day outside with kids. Beach, plenty of grassy space and a playground all within sight. Parking area is well away from everything so you can let kids run free without worrying about cars.
