Okemo is a good family resort. The staff, especially the ambassadors at the clock tour, the lift attendants and cashiers, are friendly and helpful. There seems to regularly be a bit of a 'logjam' on the lower quads (lifts) that you need to use in order to get to the other lifts. Check out the "bubble lifts'. They are very... More

This is my second year in a row going to learn how to ski. I took private lessons each year with Tom Soucy (well worth the extra money to request him as an instructor). As a beginner, I don't have much to compare it to other than one trip to Hunter Mountain but this is what I can say... lots... More

We had a lot of fun, despite being confused at the top of the mountain. Conditions are fine: lots of snowmaking to cover large ice patches. Parking can be a disaster if you aren't super early. Huge crowds at bottom, but up top less people. Green trails in some hard to reach places. Study the map:)

As a little lifelong skiier I have visited many resorts in many places. Okemo ranks right up there as one of the worst. It is over crowded with long waits fir the lifts. The lines weren't that long but between the rude people and poor management of lift lines, we spent far more time waiting than skiing. Other areas do... More

I skied Okemo on Saturday 7-Jan and to my amazement, it was not too crowded. The mountain is very spread out and lifts are situated in a way where you never have to ski all the way down to the base if you don't want to. Very easy to stay mid and upper mountain. Best way to avoid crowds....park over... More

My husband and I had a great trip here during Xmas and NYE. The mountain staff was extremely friendly, the conditions were great and almost all the lifts were running. We were impressed by the grooming, and the crowd control. There are 3 peaks and Jacksons Gore was great for a day of riding in smaller crowds. There are great... More

This is the second time we stayed at Okemo. The first time was a hassle when they originally put us in a room at Jackson Gore that didn't accommodate for our family. However, after complaining that there weren't enough beds, they provided us with an adequate room. This time, we chose a slope side condo. The condo was in desperate... More

If I could 5 zeros I would .. My wife booked what she was told on the phone in October, a Xmas week 5 day vacation for us and our three children. She was told that our stay would include lift tickets, rentals and lessons for two of our 3 kids. Mind you my wife had an extensive conversation about... More

While I have not skied in 5 years I have been skiing for the past 48 years. I've been to many ski resorts. On the first day we skied the lifts ran smoothly and the trails were well groomed. On the second day there were serious problems with several of the lifts. They appeared to be running much faster to... More
