My husband and I where up in Ludlow for a quick getaway and stopped in at this shop. I was a little intimidated by all the types of cheese and having it set up in a deli style case. There where two ladies that worked there that where warm and welcoming. Encouraged my husband and I to try whatever we... More

Small shop with a nice variety of well-chosen wines from around the world. Reasonable prices. Wine cooler with some nice French roses. Lovely array of cheeses, olives, sausages in this small country wine and cheese shop. A nice find for those who know and love good wine!

Oh, where to start. First, my husband was a little put off by the old building exterior of the shop--I think he had something else in mind. He parked and we went in and that's all it took. The person working was super knowledgeable and helpful as we chose wine/cheese to end our day. She also made a WONDERFUL recommendation... More

a wonderful shop on the scenic route to Woodstock. A wonderful selection of local Vermont cheddars I've never seen at my new jersey cheese shop- Shelburne Farms farmhouse cheddar and my favorite, the Hunter from Plymouth Artisan Cheese in Plymouth Notch, Vt. The owner said she ships as well. a lovely shop with what appears to be a great selection... More

Have been patronizing this Wine & Cheese shop for as long as they've been open (15"ish" years???). Same owner, "Leslie"', whomst offers friendly, courteous, knowledgeable service. A very nice selection of cheeses. Interesting selection of wines at all price points. Warm, interior ambiance that wine lovers will appreciate, great alternative to the big box & State Liquor stores!

Leslie has the best selection of both Wine and Cheese. Just ask and she can tell you what is the best wine to go with what you are having for diner or what will make the best gift. Dont forget to get a sample of local cheese its the best.

Excellent selection of wine, but a little over priced. The staff was very helpful in helping select cheese.
