It had been too dry when we went. Large disappointment. More of a shush than a thunder. Choose your time.

The Thundering Falls Trail is a beautiful, though short, hike along side the waterfall, and associated with the famous Appalachian Trail. It is quite steep and should not be attempted by a person not able to handle steep and unsure footing. If you are in good physical shape and can handle the footing, the beauty of the falls is well... Thundering falls is a nice little walk through the wetlands preserve. There is a "boardwalk" leading you through the wetlands with several cutouts to either look for birds or take a picture. The trail leads to the bottom of the falls and seemingly ends there, though we did see some younger people climb over rocks and tree roots to go... More

All ages and activity levels can enjoy. Hardest part is finding it. Parking is not marked and if you didn't see the boardwalk one would drive by not knowing this was where the falls is. Beautiful falls and very easy short walk

With so much hiking in the area that children and seniors cant access, this is a great little picturesque thing to go see with someone who needs an easy walk... the boardwalk takes you to the falls and a great picture taking spot

I was looking for an easy hiking trail since my mother wasn't able to walk too far due to a recent injury. I read about this trail on TripAdvisor and we went after the gondola (ski lift) ride from Killington resort, which is nearby. The trail to the falls was easy. A boardwalk most of the way. And not terribly... More

Loved the easy walk through the forest. Smell the air!! The falls had quite a lot of water coming down and were thundering. I imagine after the snow melts they are incredible.

This is a short, easy walk - you can take the dogs and even a stroller. Most of the walk is over a boardwalk across meadows and streams/wetlands before a short stint in the woods that ends at the falls. We were there in late August during a very dry summer and the falls were not really even falls -... More
