We spent three days in early November which is in between fall activities and the start of the ski season. This is a Wyndham resort.
Our two bedroom condo was nice, had a gas fireplace and two bathrooms. The second bedroom actually had two bunk...More
We gave this 4* overall because our actual unit was great. We had 2 huge bedrooms and plenty of space for our family of 5.
The foliage was amazing and we did lots of walks. That said, many of the resort activities were closed while...More
We are not snow sport people but I assume it would be outstanding during the winter. For us it was the hikes with guides that were the most appealing of all of the activities available in the remainder of the year. Resort is in a...More
Finding "Smuggs" was the first challenge -- I arrived at night when the electric lights that might have made the resort's sign visible were blocked out by overgrown flowers. As a result, after an eight hour drive I ended up going past the entrance and...More
In all, Smuggler’s Notch Resort was in a good location, offered plenty of amenities (some pay to play, others included) and was well maintained. It was a great place for a family trip. Read on for more details:

Very large clean condo's with loads of things to do onsite; including pools both indoor and outdoor, a huge recreation facility and a free shuttle to all areas of the resort and a few off site. Bring the family or friends and have a blast.
Nice view of the mountains. We are here in mid September. The leaves haven’t changed yet but the views are still spectacular.
The facilities are comfortable with restaurants and a store on premises. The store is small but well stocked it is expensive.

This is a great question to ask. We suggest to consider what you're looking to get out of the trip. The SmuggsPass activity pass you are referring to will get you access to a myriad of activities and amenities we'll touch upon at the end of this response, each day you're staying on the resort. If those interest you, but you only plan on spending time on the resort for a day or two while you are here, we suggest the Daycation Ticket, which gets you the same access on a day-by-day basis, and would be the most economical option. The cost of the Daycation ticket is $70/day per adult. That way, you can truly customize your trip!
Both passes get you not only access to all 8 of our pools and waterslides, but also both freshwater swimming reservoirs, guided hikes and wikes, wellness activities, daily use of Mini Golf and Disc Golf courses, Mountain Bike Skills Park access, adult activities like organized sand volleyball games, aqua aerobics, access to our brand NEW FunZone 2.0 Ozone, and discounts on children's programs, child care, and our 3 Mountain Outfitters.
