We enjoyed our Club Wyndham property at Smugglers' Notch. The condo was large and well appointed. I especially liked the on-site Country Store which had our web-based order already in the condo whem we arrived.

Hiking in the summer around Smuggs offers great variety of scenic vistas that are different from those found in the winter.

DO NOT GO HERE with your young kids! Our daughter injured herself and the front desk and security mislead us to believe they had first line medical care onsite. for almost 2 hours of my daughter suffering in excruciating pain, the front desk and the security team lead by Tom McGrail told us they were sending someone with medical training to help her, the person they sent said "sorry, I don't have training for this". Then their "team" led us to believe they were coming onsite with medicine to treat her. After about 2 hours, they finally said "whoopsie, sorry we extended your daughter's suffering way longer, but there's nothing we can do. Call a doctor and find a pharmacist" Disgusting!

A great vacation experience. Our unit at The Owls was great - 2 bedrooms, fireplace, covered patio, large modern kitchen and dining/living area. We enjoyed some of the many available activities, especially the Farm -to-Table dinner and the Llama Trek. Our first time here but definitely will return.

Very cool place. Had a beautiful 3br unit. Lots of activities for all ages. Waterslides, pools, arcade, zip lines, beautiful hiking trails. Free shuttle that takes you around the resort. Food choices were a bit limited. And don’t let them rope you into going to a time share sales thing.

We had a good vacation on March break but on the last day our guests’ car who was staying in another unit was hit and damaged by a employee’s car while parked on the grounds. The guests had to spend the day resolving the issue and missed fun activities. Smugglers refused to pay the $1000 that our guest would be losing because of the accident. We advocated for our guests and Smugglers reluctantly paid the $1000. We are disappointed that the experience was so stressful for our guests and ourselves.
We will be returning to Smuggs ( as we love the fun times) but hope that this negative experience will not happen to other guests in the future if an accident on the grounds should happen.

I've been visiting Smuggs with my family and in-laws nearly every winter for the past 12 years and we just love it. We started visiting when my son was very young. Smuggs has great programs to teach kids how to ski and to keep them entertained while parents spend time on the mountain. We love the mountains and ski trails, low crowds on weekdays, inexpensive transportation, lodging, and lift tickets, and being able to stay onsite for our entire visit. There were always plenty of activities for very young nieces and nephews and our parents who didn't ski.

We've stayed in both their standard lodging and in timeshare lodging arranged by my father-in-law. Both accommodations are great. Dining options are OK. There are plenty of places for lunch, but we tend to buy groceries in the onsite store for dinners and breakfast.

We've visited a few other popular ski resorts in Colorado and Utah. We've experience both good and bad snow conditions everywhere we've visited. Smuggs does a good job of making snow and with grooming. The ungroomed trails can get icy between snowfalls and on windy days as you would expect. Years ago we always visited in late-January and most of the time we found great snow conditions. In recent years we've started visiting late season (March) during spring break. We've still found good coverage on the open trails but there are less trails open and of course things can get slushy on sunny days.

Relative to the western resorts, Smugg's is an extremely good value for airfare, airport transfer, gear rentals, lodging, lift tickets, and dining/groceries.

We only get to ski one or two times a year and the ski terrain is great for beginner to intermediate skiers and boarders. There are 3 mountains with a lot of green, blue, and easy black trails which are perfect for us. There's top to bottom skiing on all the mountains so you don't have to deal with complex multi-lift assents, getting stuck in a valley, or having to deal with narrow flat catwalks to get to a trail like many Western resorts. You just take a lift to the top, choose from a variety of paths down to the bottom where you get back on the lift.

This is our 3rd trip to Smuggs (2nd as Wyndham owners) during the winter months. We like coming back to a resort we know and also enjoy seeing family in the area. No natural snow the 1st week of the winter season, but the trails that were open were perfect for our teen who was learning to ski instead of snowboarding as in the past. No lines at the lift and no crowds. Kind of worked for us. Yes, they are understaffed, but the staff that is here could not have been nicer or more helpful. A problem with heating (too much) was quickly handled by maintenance. They can't control the weather and when nordic activities like snowshoeing were not possible, the 10:30 morning walks they offered were a great option, with nordic staff leading walks along the cross country and snowshoeing trails. Great scenery and views and the staff was very friendly. Unit was roomy and comfortable and cozy. Thoroughly enjoying our stay.

Smuggler’s offers great accommodations, as well as family activities. The accommodations include full kitchen, spacious rooms, and wifi. On site offers a store offering groceries at a fair price. The Hearth and Candle restaurant offers a varied “farm to table” menu. Food is delicious, as well as attentive wait staff. Centrally located to go “down the hill” to Jeffersonville; or “through the Notch” to Stowe which is just gorgeous!
