I love cider so I was super excited to visit Woodchuck and it definitely lived up to my expectations! The first thing that I love about this place is that the tour is free and self-guided, which allows for a person to spend as much...More

I've been here a handful of times and never regret it. Their ciderhouse must be new, I think it was done in 2014-2015? Once you get there, you can go upstairs and do a self-guided tour where you can see where they make the cider....More

Full disclosure, I don't like cider. My friend and I had no plans of stopping here, but Otter Creek was such a disappointment we figured this couldn't possibly be worse. We both did the tasting and ordered a pint. It was surprisingly tasty. We aren't...More

They had a special tasting of the Belgium White Cider this weekend and a food truck using Amber marinade that was out of this world. Definitely worth the 5 hour drive and we will be back in the Fall to stock back up.

We arranged our trip into Vermont to pass through Middlebury just to visit Woodchuck. As big cider fans it seemed necessary to stop where our first favorite cider is made. The staff is friendly and there were lots of varieties not available in our local...More

Stopped in to see the video while spending the weekend in VT. Nice self-paced tour that allows you to look over the cidery from a glass overhead area. Was expecting more in the bar/gift shop. No food served by Woodchuck staff. Only had hard ciders...More

The free self guided tour is small but great! They have cheaply priced flights. You could go there to sample cider or meet friends for drinks. I can't wait to go back!

Absolutely. There is a good general area and outside seating area that families can hang out it. The coolness of it may just be limited for children given that they can't participate in the best part :)

Yes, they do!! I hung out with someone who brought a dog!! As long as they are well trained, I'm sure they're fine.
