We stopped at Woodchuck Cider on a whim as we were driving past. While we are not actually alcohol drinkers, we really love to see how things are made so we thought, "why not?" The self guided tour was informative, thorough and totally entertaining. We...More
We found this place from the tasting trail it's on along with a winery just a mile away. Kind of tripped over it and I'm glad we did. The place is immense and impressive from the outside and equally so inside.

This place is AWESOME. The self guided tour is free and informative.. a tasting was only a few dollars for a flight and you get so much to choose from. They have cucumber mint hard cider! I fell in love with the raspberry. Lots of...More
I love cider so I was super excited to visit Woodchuck and it definitely lived up to my expectations!

I've been here a handful of times and never regret it. Their ciderhouse must be new, I think it was done in 2014-2015? Once you get there, you can go upstairs and do a self-guided tour where you can see where they make the cider....More

They had a special tasting of the Belgium White Cider this weekend and a food truck using Amber marinade that was out of this world. Definitely worth the 5 hour drive and we will be back in the Fall to stock back up.
After first sampling Woodchuck Cider in the UK maybe 10 years ago and not been able to get it outside of the US since. It was always a must to visit here if we were ever in Vermont, last October we finally made it!!

Absolutely. There is a good general area and outside seating area that families can hang out it. The coolness of it may just be limited for children given that they can't participate in the best part :)
