All I can say is that you have to see this lake. Get there by way of VT route 58 north from Lyndonville or south from the Charleston area or via route 16 from Glover. You'll enjoy a beautiful drive along the way, especially in...More

Nice beach, bring chairs, a blanket, pack a lunch, and you set for a great day ! A cute little store ( right in Willoughby ) on the way makes sandwiches in case you don't have time to.

A trip to northern Vermont would not be complete without a visit to the beautiful Lake Willoughby. The beach on the south end is great for children since it is shallow for a ways out and the water is so clear.

The south beach is cutted in 2 parts. The part near mount Hor (the left part if you stand in front of the water) is the nudist beach. It's not indicated and it's not an obligation to be naked.
