It seems unfortunate that this used to be a great local cultural resource. I have been in and out of this area for the past few years and this theatre has not shown anything but mainstream movies exactly like the ones in the suburbs during...More
Stumbled upon the Roxy cinema whilst exploring Burlington. We were eager to see a film which had just came out so we decided to buy tickets.
The cinema's foyer was what you would expect of an old-school American theatre which was great. Pop-corn was delicious...More

The Merrill Roxy Cinema is a sweet litttle movie house.

Small, clean, centrally located and well-priced, this was a great little theater. Indie-films in a renovated space with nice seating and great concession stand. Liked the movie selection and the staff was friendly. What's not to like about this place?
First time visiting this little gem of a movie theater was to see SPECTRE. While the movie review shall be saved for another venue, the viewing experience was pleasurable. My only complaint... wasn't quite loud enough! But, the digital projection and surround sound were excellent....More
