We (myself, my husband, our 3 year old daughter and 1 1/2 yr old son) fully enjoyed the morning scenic cruise! We all learned a lot and the surroundings were always breathtaking. I have lived in Vermont most of my life and have been on the lake numerous times before, but never on the Spirit of Ethan Allen, and there... More

I went as part of a group on the lunch cruise on one of the last days of operation for the Spirit of Ethan Allen. Although the weather was a bit brisk for venturing out on the decks, it was very pleasant inside the large, glassed-in area and the food exceeded my expectations. The buffet was very tasty with plenty... More

We took the 10.00 am 90 minutes scenic cruise and the Lake was at its best, calm and very attractive. Commentary was fine and there was a snack bar service available. The later cruises have lunch option which wasn't on ours. The Ethan Allen was a nice boat to enjoy and gave plenty of opportunity to see the scenery around... More

We had a very nice sunset dinner cruise. Staff was attentive. Scenery was beautiful. Weather was lovely. I have been on other sunset cruises that we not as good as this. It was a nice few hours out on the water.

The dinner cruise has very good food offered. Our group really enjoyed the meal and service. What we did not enjoy was the constant "entertainment". The vocalists were good, but they performed constantly. We wanted time to visit and talk about the scenery, but were unable to. We also wanted to be told about Lake Champlain, Champy, and other interesting... More

Everything about the cruise was wonderful. The scenery on Lake champlain was gorgeous. This was a luncheon cruise but the food was great. Prime rib, fresh vegetables and tasty desserts.Since it was a buffet, you could return for more. We thought the price was reasonable for what we received . We would return if we're ever in the area and... More

Had a nice enough trip. The canned narration was fairly interesting. It would have been better if it could have been heard over the screaming of some barely domesticated children who were running amok. Don't rely on eating or getting a beverage in a timely manner. Only one server on our deck, and she was overwhelmed. Tour was very scenic,... More

Boarding the boat was quick and we were soon on our way. The leaves were beautiful and the weather. Sitting comfortably at tables you can enjoy the view, listen to the presentation and enjoy drinks or a light meal.

Enjoyable 90 minute cruise around the lake with an informative running commentary. Lots of seating choices, both inside and out. The boat is bigger enough that if the water is choppy, as it was the day we went, you won't feel it at all. Refreshments available if you need them. We didn't do the lunch or dinner cruises so I... My husband and I went for the 1 hour scenic narrated tour and really enjoyed it. The boat is nothing spectacular but it doesn't need to be. The narration on the history of the lake was actually really fun to listen to. You can order beer/wine/food as well. It is a really good option to get out and see the... More
