Our group had a 2+ hour dinner cruise. The staff was very friendly and we felt welcomed. The afternoon good weather rolled into the early evening. Very comfortable dining area with such an attentive staff that empty glasses disappeared almost immediately. Our group had a buffet of chicken and prime rib which was better than expected. Everything was great and... More

I have read many reviews about other cruises with buffets and they were GREAT but I was NOT impressed with the Mothers day brunch. Very expensive for a tasteless very limited variety of mostly breakfast items which were barely warm and a definate NON child friendly situation.

Hi there, We are so sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your cruise on Mother's Day, especially as it was a special occasion with your family. We felt very fair charging $37.75 (not including gratuity) for our Mother's Day Brunch. This included the 1.5 hour cruise, the full buffet spread, non-alchoholic brunch beverages, as well as a glass... More

No visit to Vermont is complete without seeing Vermont's Green Mountains and New York's Adirondacks on Lake Champlain via the Spirit of Ethan Allen. We also enjoyed a wonderful luncheon - prepared on board. Can't wait to go back again - soon!

Call us crazy, but when bad weather threatened to ruin our 4th of July this past summer, we decided to drive 4 hours up to Burlington, Vermont, where it was sunny - and we had a great time on the Spirit of Ethan Allen. We did a sunset cruise all around Lake Champlain, enjoying a fruit and cheese platter, and... More

I enjoyed this cruise around Lake Champlain. There was a pre-recorded tour narration that played as we traveled. It was full of history and trivia about the lake and Vermont in general. Sometimes it was hard to hear, so you may want to find a seat near one of the speakers. Also, be prepared to take pictures quickly, as the... More

Great cruise awesome potential for a stunning sunset depending on weather. Food was decent buffet style with several options. Live piano music was excellent.

We (myself, my husband, our 3 year old daughter and 1 1/2 yr old son) fully enjoyed the morning scenic cruise! We all learned a lot and the surroundings were always breathtaking. I have lived in Vermont most of my life and have been on the lake numerous times before, but never on the Spirit of Ethan Allen, and there... More

I went as part of a group on the lunch cruise on one of the last days of operation for the Spirit of Ethan Allen. Although the weather was a bit brisk for venturing out on the decks, it was very pleasant inside the large, glassed-in area and the food exceeded my expectations. The buffet was very tasty with plenty... More

We took the 10.00 am 90 minutes scenic cruise and the Lake was at its best, calm and very attractive. Commentary was fine and there was a snack bar service available. The later cruises have lunch option which wasn't on ours. The Ethan Allen was a nice boat to enjoy and gave plenty of opportunity to see the scenery around... More

We had a very nice sunset dinner cruise. Staff was attentive. Scenery was beautiful. Weather was lovely. I have been on other sunset cruises that we not as good as this. It was a nice few hours out on the water.
