Pleasant walk after dinner

Lots of upscale shops and restaurants. No cars allowed. There is something there for everyone. Fun to just sit outside at a restaurant or at a bench.

This is a lovely area of a lovely town to visit, particularly on a bright sunny day. Nice stores and plenty of restaurants sure to please everyone. There is a sign that writes"keep Vermont weird" . I do not believe Vermont or its inhabitants to be weird, but certainly laid back and not afraid to think a bit outside the... More

Nice pedestrian area for shopping, dining and people watching. Name brand stores like Banana Republic, LL Bean and others are there along with smaller boutique shop. (Try Zinnia for fun costume jewelry, Ladies.) Lots of stores cater to the college crowd at UVM but the vibe is fun. Nice little restaurants- many with outdoor seating. Bistros, craft beer pubs, you... More

stores are boring; street is boring; built with US tax dollars, no doubt some some pork barrel funds. lake front is nicer so head towards the lake.

This was a neat place to visit. Lots of restaurants and shopping stores. Was a 5 min. walk from our hotel. Made you feel like you were not in Vermont but some where down south.

A few blocks of pedestrian shopping and dining area has unique stores and a festive atmosphere. We enjoyed browsing the stores and people watching as we strolled.

This is a safe place to browse the gift shops, boutiques, and meet friends for food. There is limited access for cars so it is good for pedestrians. Many of the shops are one-of-a-kind.
