A pleasant way to spend a couple of hours (depending on your shopping habits). Many neat shops. Some fine restaurants. And great people watching.

Lot of shops with nice merchandise, too expensive for my taste. The marketplace has a lot of "street" people. I was thinking that is was going to be so much more. Not much to do and our highlight was watching a tow truck grab a...More

Church has lots to offer everyone. Great restaurants, shopping, street performers, people watching all with amazing atmosphere around you. It has the feel of Europe without going there. Don't miss this location, plenty to do!

We really enjoyed Church Street Marketplace last weekend. Great restaurants and unique shops. Lots of friendly people. Very dog-friendly! A colorful place with a positive vibe. Street performers add to the fun atmosphere.

C'mon, People....somebody had to say it. Chuch Street is always a fun way to spend a couple hours with friends, family, and strangers be it with coffees, sit-downs eats, or Ben & Jerry's.Or, in our family's case, All of the Above.

I would recommend the Church Street Marketplace, the Echo Aquarium and Waterfront Park. Then drive to Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream Factory Tour in Waterbury and back.

I would try Queen City Brewery, Zero Gravity and Switchback. Two on Pine Street and the other on Flynn Ave. My husband takes our dog for a walk and a pint in good weather.
