Brattleboro common

There are a lot of interesting things that happen here in the spring and summer. It is family friendly and can be a lot if fun.

We came to Brattleboro just to go to an outlet store for clothes. We ended up hiking around the town, just to see what we could see. My wife liked the town. Me, I saw dead people walking. And I like Dead people, er Grateful Dead people, that is. If you really want to see the scourge of heroin, Brattleboro... More

this is a very beautiful and quiet place to gather your thoughts or bring a good book, I would also bring my dogs there to walk and enjoy the sunshine, it is well kept and open to the public, it reminded me of the place where Gilmore Girls was made,,lol it also has a feel of Robert Frost, ,

The Brattleboro Common is a beautiful tree filled common with a Band Stand, benches and Memorials to our Citizens who served and made the Ultimate Sacrifice. A must visit when you here!

Downtown Brattleboro is really funky & cool. I love walking around & going into the many shops. They have a cool coffee house in the basement of a building downtown. There are many cool cafes & it's so beautiful there. I find it very relaxing to walk around in downtown Brattleboro.

A nice sweet place. But during the festival times, national celebrations, this place is full. There are stalls put up everywhere, people playing music, etc.

Nice place to visit, sit and relax. We stopped during our tour of the area while we were spending time in Brattleboro and the neighboring towns of Putney and Keene.

Good place to relax with friends or go alone and read a book. Nobody is going to hassle you there and if the weather is nice good place to visit.

No visit to Brattleboro is complete without a visit to Creamery Bridge and Brattleboro Common. Heading into the downtown area for an early lunch at the Tulip Café & Crêperie, my route passed the Brattleboro Common. It has benches, a gazebo/bandstand, some small gardens, and several memorials, the largest of which is the Brattleboro Civil War Memorial with cannon and... More
