I had to update my review because the VT Jazz Center has made some improvements since we were last there. They knocked down a wall and the space is just transformed. We bought the best tickets to the concert and got the worst seats. Their hall is irregularly shaped, so they had cheap seats facing musicians and leaving a lot of room for dancers, while the more pricey seats were to the side of the musicians. The Vermont Jazz Center seems like a labor of love and that is very much appreciated by the audience. My boyfriend is a big jazz aficionado and I'm more of just a fan.
