I went in early April and the conditions were still great! The trails were not crowded at all, the prices and rentals were awesome and the trails open were extensive and challenging, making for a fun and awesome adventure!

For spring break this year I took my son, as well as 5 of his cousins skiing & snowboarding. The group was primarily from Florida, with the youngest hailing from South Georgia. As you can see snow is not something that is common to any of us. For most, this was either their 1st or 2nd time. Therefore, almost all... More

We were staying in Stowe and went to Bolton one day to ski, I really enjoy its old school appeal and simplicity. It certainly doesn't have the frills of Stowe, or even Smuggs, but that is part of why I like it. Also, no lines and good varying terrain for all skill levels.

Great skiing at an old style New England ski area. Terrific trails, walk out the hotel to the lifts. Great place for kids - sporting center with pool/hot tub/ sauna and game room. Very reasonbly priced. Only night skiing in VT

Just came back from another fun family vacation at Bolton Valley Ski Resort. BV has great trails for all levels of skiers. We really like the Wilderness lift that brings you up to the left side peak, and we can scream down some winding blacks and blues. We have stayed in both the hotel and ski in/out condos and loved... As an intermediate skiier, Bolton Valley was the perfect place for a weekend getaway! The staff was incredibly welcoming, helpful, patient, and kind. You can tell that they absolutely put the costumer first and make every effort to assure that you are taken care of. Their accommodations offer just what you need for a weekend getaway or week vacation. They... More

If you're looking at places to ski in Vermont, I'm sure you've already noticed that Bolton Valley is one of the cheapest places. There aren't a lot of lodging choices nearby but the skiing is pretty great. They seem to get quite a bit of snowfall and most of the slopes were well groomed. It looked like a few of... More

I am really glad I went to the lodge restaurant and the gym / pool / sports complex, otherwise I would have given a lower rating. The friendly staff is what makes me give the overall resort a higher score. The ticket and information folks knew a lot. Slopes: The main attraction are the slopes and lifts which were all... More

My fiance took me here, he had skiied here multiple times and I fell in love with it. Great skiing, great trails, love the glades (try deer path) and a great little bar. Everyone is friendly, I thought I lost my license and so many staffers offered to look. Will definitely be back!

Went to Bolton for the first time with extended family from Burlington who have season passes. Although it may look in need of an update, it's filled with lots of good times. This is a great mountain if you have young families that are just beginning to enjoy skiing. The trails are in great shape, the employees are incredibly nice.... More
