I love cemeteries!! This one is especially awesome as they have plaques that explain who is buried where and their history! I loved reading all the headstones and the information about the people. It is extremely well kept and gorgeous!!

I was amazed at the cleanliness of the marble stones and fascinated by the small signs indicating graves of historical personages. It was a great experience to visit the grave of Robert Frost.

Combined with a visit to the church and a walking tour of the colonial structues in Old Bennington, you could spend a few hours without spending a dime and getting some scenic pleasure!

Lovely, well-maintained cemetery. People should spend more time visiting cemeteries and try to connect with the past. Be sure to visit Robert Frost's grave. Good place to stop after seeing the battle monument and the museum.
