Not only is this monument an engineering accomplishment it is work of art. The view from the top allows you to see the beautiful town of Bennington in all its glory. This view is fantastic always but enhanced during Autumn.

I loved the history and views. Loved the information there about the battle. Good gift shop. Don't miss the painted moose out front.

We did not go into the obelisk only parked outside and took pictures. This structure is more than half the size of the Washington Monument, very immpressive. Drive by for a few minutes. It is worth it.

I didn't know much about this battle or monument. After visiting I would compare it to the Washington Monument in size and view. You can take an elevator to the viewing area. Very impressive!

It was a rainy day for our visit to this monument, but we paid the $5.00 and enjoyed the ride to the top. There were beautiful views from the top and some informational pictures. Interesting piece of history.
