I went there from internet references. No reservation. The manufacturing tour is a self-tour. Nobody greet us or instruct us on how to get to the granite mountains. Welcome center had a sign that says it will be open by May. Search around the neighborhood...More

Beautiful visitors center and history. There is also a bus that will take you directly to the working quarry holes. First stop to take than to Hope Cemetery to see the wordmanship.

Would have loved to visit this site, but it's closed mid- December through mid-May. I understand there are educational displays. Vermont granite is world famous...but plan ahead if you want to visit during the winter months!
