Until we visited this airfield, we did not realize so much history in this area regarding the war. It was fun to drive around and read all of the historical signage to give us a better understanding of what happened here.

This is worth a stop and does not take that long. The history that surronds this was amazing to learn or refresh our history lessons from school years.

We stopped here after the Bonneville Salt Flats and had a great time , a well presented museum with significantly important historic events and the Con Air plane! Don't miss the climb up the old control tower they are hoping to restore

This airfield has the airplane hangar that housed the Enola Gay. Colonel Paul Tibbets and his crew trained here and took off from this spot for their historic, controversial missions that ended World War II. A must-see to honor these men for their service.

Small yet very informative. I could actually envision being stationed here. Brave men that took enormous risk for their country. Some what sobering considering the development and testing the atomic bomb and the results.
