My Husband and I went on the 3 hour mule ride down into the canyon to Supai tunnel on 9/30 and had a great time. We were very hesitant and almost backed out several times. I met the morning group when they were returning, and there was a 12 year old girl on that tour and she said she was... More

Delightful trip down into the canyon. The scenery was spectacular and our guide, Mark, was great. The mule ride was great fun and safe. We read the instructions and left the smart phones(with their camera) in the hotel, which was not needed. Easily can be brought in your pocket for the photo opportunities, though you would't want to use them... More

I took my 11 year old granddaughter with me on vacation this year, when she heard we were going to the Grand Canyon all she talked about was riding mules. So I booked us on the half day trip to the Supai Tunnel. When we first started she was shaking like a leaf, scared to death! I was about to... More

What an experience. This is a bucket list item, even if you didn't know it. You get to ride a mule, half horse half donkey, in the Grand Canyon. Need I say more? There are short one-hour trips and three-hours, too. You can choose to go down into the canyon, or do a trail on top to lookout points, suggested... More

My three kids (age 12, 13 and 14) and I did the three-hour ride to Supai Tunnel. After booking the ride, I became very nervous about the possible danger. I was worried for my kids. Luckily, it turns out that my imagination was just going wild. After riding, I feel that it was a safe journey for all of us.... More

I have wanted to do this ride since I was a small child and watched it on Disneyland! Finally the day had come and I was so excited. We had pre booked and waited for the courtesy bus to take us to the stables. The gentleman driving the bus was very friendly and told us he had been doing his... More

As experienced horse riders/show jumpers, whom regularly go out competing, you may think this was boring to us. Nope!! this was amazing on all levels. The Cowboys and cowgirls leading the ride were friendly, thoughtful and informative and the experience of riding into the Canyon amazing and unforgettable. My daughter said to me after the ride that this was one... More

This was an absolute highlight of our USA Road Trip, I had read a lot of reviews as I am not good with heights, decided I had to just do it, so glad we did, one of the best tips was to get a bandana from the gift shop $3.50, well worth it as I was 7th of 8 riders,... More

My whole family loved our three hour tour down the canyon. We witnessed a proposal (Europeans), a crazy posing Asian (New Yorker) and a whole lot of "natural" mule behavior. (Be prepared for the mule in front of you to break wind). Wear jeans, even in heat, and my advice is to bring a bandana or some other dust screen... More

This was on my bucket list and was completely satisfying even though I never saw the Canyon during the trip. To explain: Apparently July is monsoon season in AZ/UT. The rain started shortly after we got started and ended on our return to the trailhead. However, the mules are well trained, safe, healthy and well cared for. I am an... More
