We were concerned when we heard a small child below the lift yell "I'm gonna die!" as she tumbled into a pile of snow. ;-)

Outstanding! Excellent! Yeah, so for early January, the base, at 42 +/- inches, is only half of what it usually is this time of year. So what? Then it snowed 3" during the day, 2" at night, then 4" and 5" during the next two...More

Visited Snowbird to go skiing with a friend of mine who has a season pass. Both of us would be classified as "beginner+" skiers and on the day we went many of the green runs were closed, including one entire lift. The snow was great...More

I’ve been skiing Snowbird for years, and I want to ski there every year for the rest of my life. My family drives in from California to stay at Iron Blosam every year (which I also recommend), so we get 5-10 days of skiing in...More

Not much for beginngers, but love the variety and views and usually reliable snow for intermediate/advanced skiing. The ski-school is excellent. One of the best aorund. The scene is low-key, not crazy. Don't come for the shopping. Come for the terrain.

Located in a state that denies climate change, this resort has no snow and almost no snow making capability. As a result most runs are either closed or icy. Some of the lifties are rude and the resorts electronic pass is failed, preventing people from...More

Ski operations were shut down during our stay, but the tram operates from 9-3:30 on the half hour. Great views of the Wasatch front. From multiple viewing platforms. Enjoy the view... $20 Per person.

As mentioned by Layton, there is no reservation needed. There is a restaurant at the top and the view is amazing. Don't leave without going up. It's $17 or so per person for the tram.
