We noticed this spot and drove up for look. We were pleasantly surprised to see this extend way beyond what we saw from the lower street. This was a family, kid, and dog friendly place with the exception of all the broken glass. This was...More

Happened on it by accident. Everyone had a great time. 5 year old exploring rock holes and tunnels, 13 clambering up down faces, 15 got invited to do some climbing.

We spent all our time browsing around St. George visiting canyons etc. That is why we decided not to explore the Pioneer Park in details but only get there for sunset and the city view. Really enjoyed it!

My husband and I visit this park each time we are in St. George. Don't miss the cactus garden - beautiful!!! Many people enjoy climbing the rocks here, as well.

Nice place to go to during sunset or early morning. There is not a lot of shade. I recommend Wearing hiking shoes if you want to climb up to the top for the great view.

I can see where this could be fun for kids to crawl around to keep them busy, but the place had broken glass all over the place. Also, the trail leading into the back country was boring and led to nowhere, except a bunch of powerlines....More

Although it can certainly get crowded at times up on the big rock, there is much more to see than just that. Great venue for families with little ones.

This park has several trails that are easy to walk, but some have a significant incline, so be aware of that. Beautiful park with a commanding view of the city of St. George.

Not good for biking. But there are over 100 miles of biking trails in the area of St Grorge.

I am a 68 year old woman and I found the park great. It is a little challenging with the level changes, but I saw many children having a wonderful time there. They would need adult supervision, of course.
