The St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site at Johnson Farm preserves thousands of dinosaur tracks in place right at the site of discovery. Walk through a snapshot of an early Jurassic lake ecosystem and meet the dinosaurs and other animals that left their tracks here. See the world's largest collection of dinosaur swim tracks, and a rare track made by a crouching meat eating dinosaur, including hand impressions! Enjoy our special exhibit room and our Dino Park where kids can dig in the sand to find dinosaur tracks and practice making their own footprints!

The museum is fully air conditioned. Bathrooms, water fountains, and a gift shop are available. Well behaved small dogs are welcome.

Small but nice museum with lots of dinosaur fossils. Very informative. Reasonably priced. Worth a visit.

This a nice little one off activity that you can do in an hour or less. The site contains both actual fossils and replication of fossils as wells as large slabs of stone that have dinosaur footprints and ripple features. There is also a fossil preparation station so you can watch as technicians prepare fossils for display by drilling and... More

This is a small but unique museum located right in St. George. It was built over the site where dinosaur tracks from millions of years ago were discovered. There are many interesting and informative displays here in addition to paleontologists working on fossils. For kids or anyone with an interest in dinosaurs this is a fascinating place. There are short... More

We were a party of 3 adults and we really enjoyed it. It is very well done with lots of good, easy-to-understand information so we all learned something new. You can really get a sense of just how big these animals were and the story of how the museum came to be is also interesting. For anyone who loves fossils... More

My 8 year old is very into dinosaurs and absolutely loved this!! My other three also enjoyed it as well. More of a learning place. One of the scientists was working on a fossil and opened the window and told the kids about what she was working on and showed it to them. They were so excited to see a... More

I was surprised this place wasn't a more professional exhibit. I believe it's family owned but there is a family feeling to it too, which means they want the kids to walk away having fun and providing a learning environment too. Personally, I would have only visited once, but I have lots of grandkids who like this experience.

My 6 year old son was entranced by this place, while my 10 year old daughter kept sighing and rolling her eyes. It is fairly small, but provides a glimpse into what southwest Utah looked like 200 million years ago, and also shows the type of work that paleontologists actually do. I'd allow 1-2 hours for a comprehensive visit.

This small but interesting little museum has just enough to keep the Littles interested with even some hands on "digging" outside. There's a little shop for souvenirs too. We went on a pretty hot day, so be sure to bring hats if you let the kids play outside a bit.

Great little museum that's easy on the wallet. They have a lot of good information and seem to hone in on information specific to the area. Our kids thought it was neat so that's a plus.

I enjoyed stopping here to see the dinosaur tracks and learn about the history of the area. However, they ought to consider a military discount.

Hello, Thank you for your service. I apologize for our staff not extending the military discount, we recently hired a new staff member that may not have remembered. We do offer 10% off admissions and gift shop with military ID. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the museum content. Thanks again! More
