The St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site at Johnson Farm preserves thousands of dinosaur tracks in place right at the site of discovery. Walk through a snapshot of an early Jurassic lake ecosystem and meet the dinosaurs and other animals that left their tracks here. See the world's largest collection of dinosaur swim tracks, and a rare track made by a crouching meat eating dinosaur, including hand impressions! Enjoy our special exhibit room and our Dino Park where kids can dig in the sand to find dinosaur tracks and practice making their own footprints! The museum is fully air conditioned. Bathrooms, water fountains, and a gift shop are available. Well behaved small dogs are welcome.

It was not quite what I expected; yet, for the numerous tracks found and the expansion of knowledge available its great. It has only some shared bones of the old dinosaurs, It is mostly the tracks left in lake bottoms that were quickly preserved. To...More

The museum is easy to locate and the display of the slabs of rock with Dinosaur tracks are very interesting. There are Docents there that assist in your tour of them and answer any questions you may have. Dinosaurs did exist.

Overall it was interesting to go on the walkway, see the footprints, and look at the mockups, but just 30 minutes or so. Very few things for the kids to touch and many things we had to be careful that they didn't get too close...More

Thank you for taking the time to review our museum. We understand many of the displays are tempting for small children to touch and we appreciate you helping us preserve the site and the precious fossils we have. It's possible you missed the classroom as...More

Certainly worth an hour to see rare trackways and other one-of-a-kind dinosaur impression fossils. Especially valuable site for somewhat serious amateur and professional paleontologists. There is fun child-oriented activity room, outside exploration stations, and a fun gift shop. All is handicap accessible and a very...More

This is a small place but they pack a lot in it. The volunteer was very helpful in explaining the displays. We would recommend this place to anyone who has a interest in dinosaurs.

Well laid out with static signs and displays. We were amazed at the size of the dinosaur footprints and tracks. Displays of the legs/feet/claws as well as dinosaur models gave us a good sense of the creature sizes. The on-site laboratory with employees working on...More

Alphina, thank you for the review! We're glad you enjoyed learning about the dinosaurs we have at our museum. Just one quick clarification, the lovely folks cleaning and preparing fossils are actually volunteers! They give so much of their time each year, over 6,500 hours!...More

This is a small but significant dino museum. Intersting, with knowledgeable staff. Worth the time and money. Looking forward to their future expansion.

We stopped by here solely to see the dinosaur tracks and were not disappointing. Much of what we saw looked to be geared toward school-aged kids, but if you want to see tracks, this is the place!
