The Kayenta Community, in southern Utah's red rock country, is a tranquil enclave surrounded by protected lands.A 2,000 acre master planned community of fine homes, custom building sites and community amenities, is located 7 miles west of St. George, Utah. Kayenta is a unique departure from the norm, focused on moderate land use, moderate-sustainable growth, and an appreciation for our magnificent natural setting. Nearby, residents find adventure in the southwest's abundance of places to explore. Zion National Park, Snow Canyon and Bryce Canyon National Park are within view. While just beyond the horizon, adventure seekers will discover places like the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell and Las Vegas.

This wonderful artist village is worth a visit. It's not very large, but the half dozen stores or so represent many talented artists, mostly local. Every medium is represented in every style imaginable. It's fun to stroll in and out of these little shops looking for just the right thing - from knick-knacks to furniture. Most prices we saw were... More

We went there just to see what it was. Boy, were we surprised. It's so beautiful and peaceful. The art galleries are exceptional and they do have a wonderful spa and great natural restaurant where I had the best salad and lean hamburger. My husband had a salad that he said was great. Take some time to just wander into... More

Everyone flocks to Sedona for exactly what Kayenta provides (and there are about 12 people visiting Kayenta in comparison). The accessibility to St. George is easy (10 minutes) and the Tuachan ampitheatre puts on inspiring shows. But the real treat are the red rocks of Ivins. And the Xetava cafe. And the art shops of Kayenta village. And the kindness... More

Yes it does rain in Dt George occasionally and I took the opportunity to visit this artisan village. I was surprised at the reasonable prices and the unique handicrafts. There is also a cute cafe but I am not sure they are always open.

We went for breakfast and all left with purchases of art. The cafe had good food and interesting menu, so would recommend eating there. The unique jewelry, Native American art and spectacular photography make this a must visit destination. Highly recommend the Mystic Canyon Light Gallery for amazing photography

We've visited the village before and this time it was driving around to take in the beauty of the surroundings. Even though the homes are large or grand they don't take away from the beauty of the nature. The vegetation surrounding the homes seems as if it was always there. We must have come at the right time to see... More

Kayenta is a quiet intimate community with Red Mountain as its backdrop. It has an art village and a quaint restaurant called Xetava. You'll find a maze to walk and many trails, along with a reservoir to swim in. It's a beautiful place!

It's mainly a residential community but there's a small restaurant and a few shops and art galleries to enjoy and of course the view of the red mountains. Go there for lunch or dinner. Enjoy the view and the stars at night. Very quiet and peaceful:)
