The Kayenta Community, in southern Utah's red rock country, is a tranquil enclave surrounded by protected lands.A 2,000 acre master planned community of fine homes, custom building sites and community amenities, is located 7 miles west of St. George, Utah. Kayenta is a unique departure from the norm, focused on moderate land use, moderate-sustainable growth, and an appreciation for our magnificent natural setting. Nearby, residents find adventure in the southwest's abundance of places to explore. Zion National Park, Snow Canyon and Bryce Canyon National Park are within view. While just beyond the horizon, adventure seekers will discover places like the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell and Las Vegas.

We got there accidentally after making a wrong turn on our way elsewhere. Because my wife had heard of Kayenta, we decided to stop and check it out. It was a bit confusing - sort of free-form parking around the outside of the shops. There...More

Make sure and stop by Xetava for some great food and the beautiful red mountain backdrop. My personal favorite is the hummus plate :)

This is a fun place for everyone. I really enjoyed browsing and the cactus garden. We got there late and didn't have near enough time. Next time I will go early. Just remember it is southern Utah and very hot in the summer months.

I have been to Kayenta twice and both times found unique items to purchase. I have bought jewelry and some household art. It is nice to walk around the shops and there is a place to sit down and eat or have coffee.

We had to drive to a relatively remote location to find this, but it was worth the trip. Set in a beautiful area, the scenery is stunning. The village itself is quite charming with unique shops, a small theatre and a restaurant. Items being sold...More

I'm an art lover, and this was kind of a fun place to visit with the personable and very talented artists. Only problem was that there are only 4-5 studios, so overall it was a long drive for a smallish experience. More hype than substance....More

We explored the village of Kayenta with its quaint shops and especially loved the 3D sidewalk art. Would’ve liked more options for a small meal,or snack.

Wonderful place, friendly helpful people and beautiful Southwest art work. 5 minutes from downtown St. George Utah. If you have a chance, and you like the southwest and art don’t miss this place among the red rocks of Utah

I don't think there are bike rentals in the immediate Kayenta, as it is mostly a unique residential community with a great Artist colony.

There are a lot of bike trails all over the area, but none right by Kayenta. Kayenta is a residential community that blends into the desert with southwestern style homes. Red Rock Bikes (redrockbicycle. com) rents, sales... More
