The Kayenta Community, in southern Utah's red rock country, is a tranquil enclave surrounded by protected lands.A 2,000 acre master planned community of fine homes, custom building sites and community amenities, is located 7 miles west of St. George, Utah. Kayenta is a unique departure from the norm, focused on moderate land use, moderate-sustainable growth, and an appreciation for our magnificent natural setting. Nearby, residents find adventure in the southwest's abundance of places to explore. Zion National Park, Snow Canyon and Bryce Canyon National Park are within view. While just beyond the horizon, adventure seekers will discover places like the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell and Las Vegas.

small, interesting art community/village. Only one restaurant with lots of people and one waitress , so we did not have lunch there, but enjoyed meeting the artists and seeing their work.

We met up with our friends who live in St George and they took us here for dinner and to see the beautiful sunset! It was a perfect evening even for July's heat.

Our neighbor told to see Kayenta and Snow Canyon State Park as we were passing through St. George. We were impressed with the views and beauty surrounding Kayenta. It reminded me of Sedona except the red rocks have no names and there is much less...More

We traveled to Kayenta after Snow Canyon and followed the signs. The scenery looked just like the park. The homes were all the same. It was slightly interesting. We didn't stop at the one place that looked like the art colony, then realized we missed...More

Kayenta is a beautiful development, where the houses are built unobtrusively to blend into the landscape. There is a museum, restaurant and several shops. Just gorgeous!

I don't think there are bike rentals in the immediate Kayenta, as it is mostly a unique residential community with a great Artist colony.

There are a lot of bike trails all over the area, but none right by Kayenta. Kayenta is a residential community that blends into the desert with southwestern style homes. Red Rock Bikes (redrockbicycle. com) rents, sales... More
