This was our 1st time being here under the new ownership. We got Groupon tickets which made the day really affordable for 7 people. Much cleaner than it used to be. Very family friendly. Not crowded on a Monday morning, pretty busy right after lunch, and then started dying down around 4. You can’t bring food in which means leaving the park to go get something or packing food n your car. We’ll definitely go back.

Seven Peaks was a pretty fun water park. It has some great rides - some of which, like the boomerang, I've not seen before.
It was pretty busy the day we went but the lines move pretty quickly.
There are lots of lifeguards and it's well supervised. I liked that. Someone got badly injured while we were there so they had to close most all the slides for about 90 minutes. They attended to the injured person promptly and professionally and it looked like they pulled all the lifeguard staff off for a debrief after the event. it looked like they were on the ball.
The only thing to criticize was the pricing and rules.
There is no shade in the park. if you want some you have to rent a 'cabana' - basically large umbrella - which will set you back $40 - $50. No outside food or drink is allowed in the park - none - and they search your bags. You can't even take in a camelback with water. On the one hand this is nice as no alcohol gets into the park - but on the other hand you're at the mercy of their EXORBITANTLY priced food/drink. A mini pizza/bag of chips/fountain drink costs $13. A cup of ice cream (dots) is $7
Most of the rides REQUIRE a tube. The tube is not included in your admission and rental is $5. So make sure that you budget the admission price PLUS $5 for tube PLUS $13 for food (at least) PLUS more if you want shade.

My experience dates back to summers of '15 and '16.
Seven Peaks was closed for private events 50% of the time I tried taking my kids there. Yes, they have a calendar of events online. No, they did not keep it properly updated. After a couple times of making the long drive just to be turned away, I started calling to make sure they were open to pass holders. 50% of the time I was told they would be open to pass holders ended up being incorrect. I would show up with my 3 kids just to be turned away at the gate. Needless to say, I did not buy passes this year and won't ever again.

We drove 250 miles to celebrate a child’s birthday, pick up a child flying in from Germany and link up with our returning military husband/dad. We had a party of 11, and were anticipating family fun in the sun. We couldn’t have been more disappointed.
We will NEVER return to this filthy, unfriendly, overpriced, underserviced water park again.
Where to even begin?
They charge $5 to park several blocks away. Be prepared for a walk, and a street crossing.
They do not allow food to be brought into the park- but ran out of food at some concession stands AND getting four hotdogs required a TWO HOUR WAIT! Two hours out of a nine hour operation time just to wait for food? When we’d paid nearly $22 each to even get in the place??? Unbelievable!
The tiny, filthy bathrooms were overcrowded, out of toilet paper, and garbage spilled over most waste baskets. I doubt they had 20 toilets in the entire park for women.
The $22 entrance fee didn’t cover a tube rental, a chair, or a locker rental, which after you pay for a package deal still requires a deposit…but the snotty attitude from each employee came free. They don’t care enough about military service to offer a military discount, by the way, so unless you want rolled eyes and yet more nasty teen attitude, don’t even ask.
The kiddie pool was sickening. It was nearly entirely covered with algae and general dirt, and was shut down until after 2pm on a very busy Saturday. But an attendant scraped the bottom a bit, and it was open for business! I wouldn’t have let my dog swim in that pool, let alone a toddler, and watching moms and babies in there made my stomach turn.
And then there were the lines. Wow, the lines. We waited in line to park, to get in, to get a changing room, to use the toilet, to rent a tube, to return a tube, to buy a sno-cone, to order a hot dog, and we definitely waited in line to ride the slides. During an eight hour visit, our kids each were only able to hit eight slides. Do the quick math, and we paid roughly $3.50 to stand in line for an hour to ride a 30 second ride, each ride.
Riding the wave pool was horrifying, and we affectionately dubbed it “bowling for babies”, as it was so crowded, we continually had to watch for children our tubes were about to mow over. The lazy river wasn’t much better, as it seemed to be a giant floatilla of tubes and children’s heads bobbing around sort of moving along as one giant mass. There wasn’t any way the “lifeguards” could have possibly kept an eye on all the activity in these pools, and I’m surprised people weren’t seriously injured or killed at this park.
Then there was the bird poop. It was everywhere! While waiting the hour wait to ride “The Boomerang” or “The Vortex”, there was so much bird poop on the stairs, you could barely avoid it. And it wasn’t simply the occasional splat from a bird or two. There was so much feces, the corners of the stairs (where feet hadn’t carried it away!) were covered in splats, black poop balls and feathers. You couldn’t see the stair through the poop sometimes!!! Seven Peaks couldn’t have taken 10 minutes before opening to spray off the stairs??? If the poop wasn’t enough, the smell from the rotting carpet on the main platform was enough to make people cover their faces at times. Horrible experience all the way around.
This entire park is disgusting and absolutely unacceptable. If we hadn’t traveled so long and so far, and paid so much money (all of which un-refundable, we learned after we looked around the park and tried to leave 15 minutes after arriving) we would have left this park long behind. And, if it wasn’t nearly the last day of the season when we visited, the health department would be getting a call. Don’t waste your time or resources on this “attraction”.

Seven Peaks has a long history of subpar maintenance and customer service, and today was no exception. My child's school was scheduled for a fun day at Seven Peaks before school let out. Each student paid $10 for a ticket the day before, only to be told the next morning, as they were leaving for the park, that the slide tower was under construction and all the slides were closed. This is not just poor service, this is downright dishonesty. They knew when they sold the tickets that the slides would be closed but not a word was said on the subject.
We were offered a free ticket for some other day during the summer (when the lines are guaranteed to be hopelessly long for everything) which is fine except that half the kids have passes anyway and free tickets are wasted on them. And the free tickets don't cover tube rentals or lockers or anything except admittance, so this is just a way for Seven Peaks to make more money. What a scam. I'm thinking of contact the Consumer Protection Agency about this one.
Seven Peaks is often dirty and nearly always something is broken down. The lifeguards are mean and the rules are arbitrarily enforced. If this weren't the only game in town no one would go there.

The $29.99 deal was great with a $20 dollar gift card, but the horrible service almost makes it completely not worth it at all. If they didn't have these pass of all passes they would have been out of business long ago! Last year I paid the $10 dollars for parking in the Seven Peaks Water Park waited for about 45 minutes to get in only to find their prices unreasonably marked so I went back to get my $10 dollars back for parking and they refused to give my money back. This year I bought my tickets in Febuary (expecting to get them in 6-8 weeks) after about 2 months I didn't get any tickets, I called them up and after being on hold for about a half an hour found out I had to redeem them and then after I could get the passes in 6-8 weeks so I did, none came in 6-8 weeks, so we called them up again and they said just to come to one of their offices. We did, and waited in the Water Park office line for 2 hours!!! They didn't have any of the information kept in their system so they had to retake pictures that I had already uploaded and then they sent us to another long line to get into the park! I have been waiting to get the gift cards and finally went into their office at a fun center today only to find out that I have to redeem the code online again to get the gift card in 6-8 weeks. This has been a horrible experience and I am completely unimpressed with this company. I am never going to buy from them again even if it was a good deal. It has not been worth all the horrible mess.

My 2 year old sister almost drown yesterday at seven peaks provo she started turning blue and couldn't breathe my mom took her to a life guard and turns out none of the life guards there are CPR certified! Unbelievable! So my mon called 911and the ambulance came And took her to Utah valley hospital. She has been hospitalized for 2nights now. The was also a nurse at seven peaks that was just visiting and she told us what to do with my sister and then the life guards kept pushing the nice lady away and claimed that she was crazy the lady kept helping us and then my sister started breathing again! After that the life guards punched the lady and and made her exit the water park! NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN!!!!!!

Very disappointed with Seven Peaks Water Park in Provo. I went to Seven Peaks on a Saturday at 2:11. Around 2:20 the sky started to become cloudy and dark. As my friends and I waited in line to get on a slide it started raining and lightening. We were asked to leave. At this time it was 2:45. I had not participated in any of the parks attractions. I did not get in the pool nor ride any of the slides. I wasn't even wet. I paid $26.64 to be in their park for less than 45 mins and wait in line. I talked to two employees and a supervisor to ask for a refund. They informed me that they did not give refunds because of bad weather. They explained that there were signs everywhere in the park explaining that there was know refunds for bad weather. I purchased my ticket at the lower level of the park, there was no sign stating no refunds. The next day I went to work and my friend and her family were at the park the same day I was and even at the same time. She said that her Dad, who apparently is 6' 7'' (I'm only 5'1" not very intimating) asked for a refund and they refunded their entire family! I was a bit upset when I heard this. So I called seven peaks management the next day and explained the entire situation over again and told about my friends family being refunded. The manager would not work with me at all. She said that no one got refunded on that day and if that family did get a refund an employee did without asking management. I feel like they should have refunded my money or at least give me a day pass for another day. Basically feel like seven peaks stole from me. I paid for the product but didn't get it. Most likely I will not return.

We were guaranteed a cabana by 7 Peaks. We arrived with 25 people, some visiting from Europe and were told it was unavailable. "Sorry." Went up through 3 levels of managers who were all about 18 years old, who looked at me blankly and said. "Sorry." 20% off of another rental? A free Coke? NOTHING! The park was completely filled to capacity at 10 a.m. Shut the kids pool down at 1 p.m. No food/drink vendors opened until noon and then with a line of 20 people waiting in 100 degree temperatures they announced they were running a little behind and didn't open until 12:30. You are not allowed to bring in your own food or drinks, but none are available for 3 hours after the opening of the park? They sold 100,000 passes and they don't care what happens once you arrive. Horrible Customer Relations and Customer service!

If you ever want to actually receive your pass then I would not recommend Seven Peaks online redemption. I ordered via online form on 1/5/13 (they confirmed this was my submit date) a pass that can ONLY be redeemed online (because it is supposed to come with a token card) and was told on the coupon and website at that time it would be about a week. Two weeks later no word. I contacted them and they said they updated their site to say it would be a month or two. It is now 2/22/13 and I still have no word even though my original pass is expiring in eight days. If you get a pass redemption receipt you can physically take to a location in Salt Lake then it will work for you but their online redemption is utterly unacceptable and their communication nearly is as bad. For the record, I just called again (2/22/13 Friday a.m.) for an update and got an answering machine. Update 2/25/13: I got a call back on today (Monday 11:00) and they said they will be processing the orders the end of this week so I should get it then. I clarified that this means I will not actually have it this week due to postage time after they process it and she grudgingly agreed. She also attempted to claim I was wrong that the system/order ever said a week until I said I have proof and documentation that she is not correct. Geez. It will definitely be two months before I actually get the pass. Plus you may be accused as if this were somehow something you did or that your expectations are too high.
