Excellent Resort

We have skied here annually since 1983. With the purchase by Vail corporation, everything aspect of the resort has been elevated.

With 125 for a day pass, we felt seriously ripped off. The terrain is 50% or so flatish or traversing. we felt we were pushing with our ski pols way more than we should. Runs are badly designed, often congregating into crowded valley bottoms, where skier traffic feels like rush hour. It's easy to hit someone there. Insanely long lift... More

This resort is huge, plenty of different terrain to choose from, if you want to avoid the crowds head for the double blue and black runs.. only problem we encountered was when winds or weather hit, the gondola between park city and the canyons shuts down so you may get caught on the wrong side of the mountain ( but buses... This was one of the best trips we have had to Park City Mountain Resort. This was our 5th year in a row. Vail has been putting a great deal of money in the resort and it shows. We never had a line at the lifts during our 4 days of skiing. The grooming was excellent (except the day that... More

So PCMR is fantastic. Biggest ski resort in the US, great slopes, postcard views, the nicest people working there, adorable town, great accommodations, fantastic instructors, great for the family, highly recommended A+. The only thing I'm going to pick on is the food, and since PCMR is so fantastic, I'm still giving 5 stars....see you all next year. Yeah, I... More

Excellent ski resort. You could ski here for 4 days and not cover all the runs and diamond bowl areas.

We traveled over New Years. the mountain was amazing. the lessons didn't seem to be as well organized as at Vail or Okemo, we were told on the phone that the only option available for our teenagers who ski very well was called peak to peak where they would ski all day with an instructor so we booked it for... If you are a moderate to skilled skier, the "Peak to Peak" experience is REALLY worth taking. Park City / Canyons is one of the biggest resorts in the US, and this tour will get you around most of the mountains in a day. Also, the instructors (we had two) will give you tips on how to ski the various... More

We love skiing at Park City. The new gondola connecting the Canyons Village and Park City makes for a lot of skiing options!
