Did a last minute weekend ski trip to Park City. First day was mix of snow and rain. Most lifts were not running due to power outage. Park city would not offer any discount or refund due to this claiming it was just weather. Actually an accident had taken down a utility pole and it took hours to restore power.... More

PCMR is an example of waht happens as the result of the financialization of an industry - customers end up paying more for less. Ski passes have gone up by 30% these past two years. And for what? A gondola between Canyons and Park City that is not helpful. Thank goodness there are other options. Amazing to say that even... More

We didn't 't ski. Last weekend was an amalgam of snow, sleet, fog and rain. We don't ski and could rarely see the mountains. I stayed up at night and saw the Sno-Cats on the mountains, grooming the trails. When we moved there nearly a decade ago the bright headlights used to awaken me, as did the mortars for avalanche... Enjoyed our time on the slopes. Had kids that we put in the ski school to learn how to snowboard. The instructors were great. 3 teenagers and one 9 year old all did great and had fun. Ski lessons range fro 245-299 and include rental of ski equipment, lift ticket, and lessons. There are other package deals if you have... More

We skied Park City/Canyon in mid March for 8 days and initially the weather was super warm and there had not been any new snow for a couple of weeks and the snow was either really slushy or icy. I was so disappointed but then after 3 days we had new snow and it was much better. I preferred the... More

We skied 5 days at Park City and the Canyons. There is only one chair with foot rests at the Canyons but more they have them at Park City. We eventually figured out our way around the mountain. We were not impressed with the crummy grooming with big old gouges, lumps and bumps. I can't believe they groom like that... More
