Bobby picked us up outside the view hotel and took us out on a 3.5 hour tour in the afternoon. Booby was exceptional and had warm demeanor, he talked about the geology and history of the region, and about the culture and history of the Navajo people. He also got to know us and we talked about our mutual interests.... More

At Monument Valley you can pay the park fee and drive in on your own. That will get you as far as John Ford's Point - which is great, especially if you are short in time. But we decided to try a tour for our family of six and settled on Monument Valley Safari tours. We took the three and... More

Yep, this company is the best. We booked the 3.5 hour cultural and monuments tour and it was great. Traveled with our 3 kids and Toney was great with them. We had inquired about Navajo drums as my daughter was studying them and he brought his hand drum and played us a 'traveling song' in The Big Hogan formation. Pretty... More

Monument Valley Safari is a stellar and professional organization. Our guide, Tony, was exceptional and his four-wheel driving expertise getting us up Hunts Mesa impressed us most of all. We booked the Lower Monument Valley and Mystery Valley, sunrise and late afternoon, tours for the first day, respectively. Totally worth it. In the afternoon, Tony showed us Anasazi ruins and... Tried booking this tour on line with no response so I called and managed to book. We were to meet at The View Hotel and I talked to a couple of guides before our guide showed up and they told me that " Duffy" was our guide and to ask lots of questions because he knew his stuff. Duffy showed... More

We spent the morning on our own self-guided tour of the 17 mile loop so it was nice that Toney started out by asking what we'd seen and what we wanted to see. It was really cool to go off the beaten path and see two areas with petroglyphs plus an Anasazi cliff dwelling, a visit to a hogan where... More

One of the most marvelous landscapes we've encountered touring Western USA. We had superb time with Duffy who introduced us to the Navaho culture, beliefs and life style. Optimistic and knowledgeable guy, patient and really knows his profession. Had 4 exciting hours with a lot of time for pictures of this impressive location. Next time we hope to do same... More

Took the sunrise and sunset tour with Toney as our guide. Toney is very knowledgable, and was a great guide. If my wife and I get back in the area we will definitely book another tour (can't have too many good photos)

Duffy was our tour guide for my husband and me on the Sunset Tour. There weren't many people touring that day since it was raining and cold. We went anyway and had Duffy all to ourselves! So lucky! He was extremely knowledgeable about the Navajo nation considering he is Navajo too! :) And we learned so much about the history... More

We pre booked this trip and met our guide at 8am in the view hotel.. I would throughly recommend this trip. We was the only two people and our guide was excellent. Bobby explained so much about the monuments, culture & local traditions.. the benefits of booking the tour is that you are taken to areas that are not accessible... More
