Came across this by chance & realized what it was when I looked in my rearview mirror! Several other travelers were taking some pictures which brought it to my attention. If you are a movie fan, Forrest Gump in particular, pretty cool to see. Plus...More

As we came over the hill heading west on US highway 163, we saw dozens of people standing in the middle of the road. We thought there had been a horrible accident. As we drove closer, we could see it was just tourists risking their...More

Not really worth the stop, a wood sign showing where a fictional character in a movie stopped running. Sure the movie was very good, but this is a blehhh stop.

Didn't realize this view had a name, but have seen it many times in photos for trip to Monument Valley. People were stopped along this route, getting out of their cars and sitting in the road on the dotted line taking photos. Craziness!

Maybe it’s the little things but this was so cool. The view in itself is awesome but to take your pic out in the middle of the road (carefully) where Forrest ended his journey.

While there, I can also support that locals do not wait for tourists. The best way to get aw some shots is to 1) get your camera set up and 2) get someone to spot for you. It’s worth having time and patience it’s beautiful

Hi. We arrived on Friday at around 11-12 midday. Traffic was very light and only had to wait a few minutes to get a clear shot of the road. Their was only one other couple there, enjoy.
