I was here a few months ago on a stop over from a class I was teaching at BYU. (It was recommended by the students!) Thanksgiving Point includes a small farm, some gardens, restaurants, and a very nice dinosaur/fossil museum. I knocked a star off...More

Yes, there are bigger tulip festivals in the world, this ain't the Netherlands. But it's beautifully organised and the setting is wonderful. A lovely variety of tulips in carefully created scenery. Very enjoyable way to spend a spring evening.

This is a great little area... If you get the chance to visit you should go. They have plenty of food, shopping and movies just to name a few things.

What a resource for the community. There is the golf course, really nice. A bit tough for the average golfer but a great experience. The curiosity center, my grandkids love. Dinosaur museum, again my grandkids love and the farmland experience.

We've bought a membership two years in a row and it's a great value. My kids love the Museum of Curiosity and other museums. We just went to the Tulip Festival and the "Light of the World" exhibit was wonderful.

Looking at visiting this upcoming weekend for the Christmas lights. Can anyone tell me if you are allowed to bring your own water or coco to sip on while we walk? I see there is some for sale just wondered if bringing some was an option.

With little kids in tow it is fair to assume that it will take you 2 hours minimum to do each place. But that depends on how willing your youngest are to keep moving in the gardens or be pushed in the stroller. Farm country... More
