We were driving , enjoying the beautiful scenery and came upon silver reef! A mining town full of historical artifacts, a re-enactment of the life of a miner and what it was to live back in those days- so interesting!! Definitely a must see!!

Silver Reef usually has a special fundraising event right before Halloween. This year is was held October 26 & 27. Volunteers dressed as the "ghosts" of past inhabitants and told their stories. It is all volunteers and well done, the only drawback being the air-horn(!)...More

This is a small museum with some interesting artifacts. The town is not there, just a few wall remnants. They have built a replica mine they take you into, and tell you the history of the town. Really not much here. Not really worth much...More
