This cave was purchased by a man called Chamberlain and was originally a bar and ballroom but his original plan was for a museum as it was his love of stones and rocks that lead him to purchase this cave. The bar and stools are...More

This was a very interesting stop on the way into Kanab. It's a large cave with a museum and gift shop. There is a lot of very interesting history and we enjoyed it.

This is a cute little stop while passing through toward Zion Nat’l Park. We stayed for less than an hour. It was neat for the kids and cheap if I recall.

Cool temp in the cave was a good break! Knew this was an exhibit with an interesting family history. Had little prior knowledge of archeological - so learned some things. Enjoyed a conversation with Donna who shared details of the Morman history of the area....More

A small attraction that we enjoyed. The historical impact was felt when we saw the interior artifacts and conversed with the family member. Lovely display of many rocks but the area could use more lights in order to really see the display.

To me, the most interesting part of this attraction is the story behind it. I was greeted by the owner's grandson and he had some good stories, and the lady in the gift shop was delightful to talk to also. I was most interested in...More

We stopped in and didn’t realize you had to pay to walk around a gift shop. There some cool historic things to look at and say WOW and keep walking. Honestly, doesn’t seem like $12 for two adults and 10 minutes was really worth it....More

It was a cave with stuff in it. Some of the stuff was interesting. Large rock collection. Used to be a bar inside the cave. Not limited to local history, fossils, or items. Still owned by the Chamberlain family. Extensive gift shop. Good place to...More

Moqui Cave was a quick and interesting stop for my daughter and me - it’s basically a very eclectic mix of things thrown together, including a large fluorescent rock collection, Native American artifacts, and remnants of the old bar/dance hall that was created and operated...More

Moqui cave definitely a tourist stop and not a natural wonder. I think the antelope cave/canyon reference is good, although toughly a hundred mile east from Kanab, closer to Lake Powel. Did not visit Antelope given distance
