We stopped here for a picnic lunch on a road trip. It’s a bit pricey if you are only staying for a short visit, but the view over the lake was pretty, and there were lots of shaded picnic tables. People out on the lake...More

We were here mostly to camp, not use the reservoir. Campsites were decent, though a bit close together considering there is little shrubbery around. The campground was full on an April weekend, so we could definitely hear the neighbors and inhale their smoke. The campground...More

Mostly calm still water great for kayaking. Nice little campground which is undergoing some upgrades and renovations. The showers will be a good thing when finished.

We stayed at the campground for three nights and we loved it. Only drawback is if you have a long tow behind spots are not big enough and leveling is difficult.

Both this and the neighboring reservoir are top notch. Easy to find and within a short drive from both a fuel station and walmart on the local highway. Perhaps a five minute drive.

Nice little reservoir. Gets very crowded on a Saturday in June, so a little choppy for kayaking. No dogs allowed.
