We went on the 'North Pole Express' train ride and the grandchildren loved it. It leaves in the dark so nobody knows the way to the North Pole. It's based on the 'Polar Express' with singing and dancing, so lots of fun for the kids. They get a cookie baked my Mrs Claus and hot chocolate - but be careful... More

We rode after Thaksgiving. The grandkids had a blast as did the adults. 90 minute trip was great for the non-train buffs. The elfs were awesome. Jolly, bubbles, eggnog and Bekka were awesome with the kids and enthusiastic but not overboard. Overall a great experience for all of us.

Reserved the caboose on the North Pole Express. Had our family of 12 there which was about the right size. Two workers take care of your needs. Great for a private fun event. Santa spent time with each child. Good memory and worth the money

This was grandson Henry's second Weber Valley Railroad trip. He did the North Pole Express two years ago. This time, we took the ninety-minute Deer Creek Express. Lovely scenery and slow-going. A railroad bandit tried to rob us at one stop -- pretend -- and, when she said, "Put your hands up in the air . . . NOW," Henry... More

Off season, so only one train per day, 3:00pm. Tickets were $20 each for adults. Very easy to find. Look for the old trains and Depot. There is a gift shop inside. Our trip was 90 minutes long, 45 minutes out and 45 minutes back to the Depot. Beautiful scenery along the way. Trip takes you by a nice lake.... More

Took a fun ride on the Pumpkin Train with extended family. It was very busy, but a lot of fun! The ride is a short trip to Soldier Hollow and back--a total of 40 min. A Pumpkin chocolate chip cookie and a pumpkin are included. This is a very tame Halloween experience. Many small children on the train. Not scary... More

This 3 hour trip was painfully slow, entirely flat and not any more scenic than a drive would have been. The train inches by the Deer Creek Reservoir and on to a park were you get off and wait 20 min for them to move the engine to the back end of the train. Then you reboard and go back... More

My friend and I woke up to blue skies, so decided to explore the Park City area. We had heard about the train in Heber, looked it up online, saw it was only 30 minutes away so decided to try it. We were not disappointed. The colors were amazing...we felt at times like we were viewing a Sunset Magazine photo... More

Taking this train of old coach cars through Heber Valley gives you a chance to see the beauty of river, gorge and mountains. The train serves snacks from candy to hot dogs but you are welcome to bring your own. A short stop at a park gives everybody a chance to stretch their legs on this three hour ride. It's... More
